The Post-Traumatic Playbook
A six-part workshop to help you actually heal from trauma
With Dr. Claire Dowdle Cina
Do you want to heal from your past, but you’re not sure where to begin or what type of therapy to pursue?
Or maybe you feel like you’ve tried everything, but you’re still struggling?
If you’ve had a hard time finding the path to healing, it’s not your fault.
As a psychologist with fifteen years of experience helping people heal from trauma–and as a survivor myself–I’ve realized how difficult it is to know how to heal or where to turn.
This is why I’ve created this six-part workshop.
Over time, I’ve come to understand the foundations of healing and what resources and therapies are most helpful within each domain. Through these interactive lectures, you’ll better understand each component of healing, what you need to work on, and where to get any additional help you need so that you can feel confident on your healing journey.
This is not a therapy group!
This is a workshop that empowers you with information and resources so you have a roadmap for your healing.
These workshops don’t need to be completed in order or in full! Each component impacts one another, but they fit together like pieces of a puzzle rather than steps on a path.
I can’t wait for you to join me!!
Trauma Workshop 6: Blooming
What will you do with your one wild and precious life when you are no longer constricted? What will you create, what will you give back, who could you blossom into?
In this workshop, we’ll discuss post-traumatic growth, creativity, connection, all while building faith in who you are and who you’re becoming.
Trauma Workshop 5: Connecting
This workshop focuses on re-connecting to yourself and others. Trauma is a disorder of disconnection and the goal of healing is all about integration—meaning connecting to yourself as a whole human being, trauma wounds and all. In this workshop, you will learn how to rebuild a sense of self after the facturing impact of trauma, and how to re-connect to others. Here will will talk about attachment issues that occur from interpersonal trauma, as well as disclosing your trauma history.

This workshop will set you up with resorces, tools, and exercises so you are empowered to heal your mind, body, and spirit.
Trauma Workshop 3: Remembering & Accepting
Did you know that forgetting important aspects of a traumatic event is included in the diagnostic criteria for PTSD? This means that forgetting is very often part of experiencing trauma, and remembering is often part of healing. In this workshop, you will learn more about how traumatic memory works, and how to navigate your process of remembering. You will also learn how to create the foundations for acceptance to grow, and understand the barriers that are typically present. You will better understand acceptance as varied concept with multiple iterations. You will leave this workshop with tools to continue working on remembering and accepting.
Trauma Workshop 2: Calming
A backdrop of safety is imperative to healing, and is the opposite of what trauma survivors have learned. Which is why it takes intention to build a sense of safety. In this workshop, you will learn about the hijacked nervous system and practices to build calm and safety. You will learn common post-traumatic behaviors to work on decreasing, while building different, positive behaviors that help you find the peace and safety you deserve.
Trauma Workshop 1: Understanding
This webinar will empower you with the a greater understanding of trauma and healing. In this workshop, you will learn what traumatic stress is and what it means to heal. Through the use of several assessment measures, you will learn how your trauma impacts you specifically, so you can focus your healing efforts. You will also gain knowledge of other common issues that occur after trauma, and will be provided great resources so you can learn more. There will be a Q & A at the end, so you can ask any burning questions, and get great feedback from other group members. After all, knowledge is power.
